At Mimados, we believe grooming should be a positive and enjoyable experience for every pet. The name “Mimados” means “pampered” in Portuguese—and that’s exactly the experience we strive to provide every day.
My name is Hiago Loiola, and I have been professionally grooming pets for over 13 years. My journey began in 2012, when I was just 15 years old. My mother, a dedicated entrepreneur and one of the strongest people I have ever known, encouraged me to pursue this profession and inspired my love and respect for animals. She taught me the values that continue to guide me today: hard work, perseverance, integrity, and the importance of treating every living being with kindness.
When I moved to the United States in 2021, I carried those lessons with me. After my mother’s unexpected passing in 2022, I was determined to honor her legacy by building something that reflected the values she worked so hard to instill in me. One year later, with the help of a special friend who trusted in my values and knowledge, I opened the first Mimados location.
Today, Mimados is more than a grooming salon—it’s a place where pets are treated like family. We proudly offer a cage-free environment designed to help pets feel comfortable, relaxed, and at home. Whether your pet enjoys socializing and playing or needs a quieter, private space, we tailor our care to their individual personality and needs.
Our mission is simple: to provide exceptional grooming services while creating a safe, loving, and stress-free experience for every pet that walks through our doors.
At Mimados, your furry family members receive the same level of care, patience, and dedication that has guided me throughout my career and continues to inspire everything we do.
We look forward to welcoming you and your pet to the Mimados family.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY
FAQ’s
A. It is important to have your puppy groomed as soon as possible so they can get used to and learn to love the grooming experience. We recommend they come in two weeks after their last set of vaccinations. We will not clip your puppy on their first visit to the Spa as the evolution from a puppy to an adult coat is dependent on breed and a grooming regime will be suggested to suit your puppy. During their first visit your puppy will be introduced in a relaxed and fun way to the sights, sounds and smells of the grooming salon ensuring that future visits are stress free.
A. We recommend every 4-6 weeks, depending on your breed and grooming needs. And also a bath between the grooming is good to prevent matted hair and skin issues.
Nails need trimming depends on the dog’s breed, lifestyle, and how fast their nails grow. generally 3-4 weeks is recommended. Yes, call us and make your appointment or online on our website.

If in any doubts please consult your vet who will help you to decide whether there would be any adverse risk in grooming your older dog.
A. Pricing is based on breed, hair length, the condition of your doggie’s skin, it’s temperament, age, and grooming history. We will give an exact cost at your pre-treatment consultation.
A. Depending on the breed, coat size and pet behavior, we generally ask for 2 to 5 hours. But don’t worry, we don’t put your pet in crates, they are free to play with others, having treats and fresh water and lots of toys. to groom a dog is not a cake recipe, some things can affect the time it takes for your pet to be ready, sometimes we have to stop and bathe them again when they get dirty in their own pee and that takes time. Don’t get mad at us if we take longer than usual, we’re doing our best for you and your pet.
